Fish Structure for Sheepshead, Snook and Mangrove Snapper

Report Date: March 7, 2013

Still getting a few pompano in different locations but the bite is still slow for this time of year. Been doing lots of structure fishing lately with a mixture of sheephead over four pounds, snook under the slot with mangrove snapper and a few flounder topping the list.

The St. Lucie Inlet was holding bluefish for a few days right after our recent cold snap running to three pounds. Black drum remains slow at the bridges but a mixture of trout, ladyfish, jacks and mackerel are around.

Sailfish flats are mostly ladyfish along with some blue runners, bonefish and scattered pompano hitting Capt, Joe's jigging spoons. Running north in the a.m. planning to mix it up a bit and will post in a few days.
