Macs,Pomps And Drum

The Spanish mackerel have finally show up here on the Treasure Coast. We actually ran our first Mac trip of the season a few weeks ago catching 17. These fish were large running an average of 4-6 pounds. I do require seas of 2.5 ft or less to fish the beach. Also we keep our mackerel trip to 4 person maximum.
Pompano, black drum, bonefish and sheepshead can be found inshore . Tripletail trips are 3 person maximum. All other species this time of year except for mackerel and tripletail are 6 person maximum.
