Super Clean Water

Report Date: April 21, 2017

Water quality here on the Treasure Coast is fantastic with no releases from Lake Okeechobee for quite some time. Water color at dead low tide is cleaner than high tide 6 months ago. Pompano, spanish mackerel and bonefish are still around. The sheepshead bite has slowed down a bit after a remarkable bite in February and March. Snook and jacks at the bridges eating live baits.
Looking forward to an increase in baitfish both inshore and outside. With more bait comes more fish.
